Since childhood Dan wanted to be a carpenter and wood worker. After high school graduation he attended North Hennepin Technical College and earned a degree in Modern Woodworking. He began his work career in cabinetmaking and continued that for 16 years. He was then presented the opportunity to work with “Andy” Anderson of Anderson Woodcraft, a well known Twin Cities remodeler, to get on the job experience in residential remodeling. After learning alongside Andy for 13 years Dan decided that it was time to pursue his dream of owning his own business. He founded Hamann’s Custom Carpentry, Inc. in May 2014 and the rest, as they say, is history.

Hamann’s Custom Carpentry, Inc. handles all aspects of home remodeling and improvement, interior and exterior. No job is too big or too small. Dan values craftsmanship, quality work and client satisfaction. He utilizes a select group of sub-contractors in various trades that he has worked with for many years.
